2016 Albany Memorial Day Parade *Best Bet

The Albany Memorial Day Parade forms at 9am at Ontario Street and Central Ave, steps off at 9:30 a.m. and proceeds east on Central Ave, continuing east on Washington Ave to parade's end at N. Hawk St just east of the NYS Capitol.

Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade

The 2016 Bethlehem Memorial Day Parade will step off at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 30 from the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post of The American Legion, corner of West Poplar Drive and Elsmere Avenue. The parade marches down Elsmere Avenue and turns right on Kenwood Avenue to a left on Adams Place and then a right onto Adams Street. The route then turns right onto Delaware Avenue to the reviewing stand at Veterans Park next to Stewarts. A ceremony will be held at Veteran's Park immediately following the parade.

The parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m. at the Elsmere Fire House, 15 West Poplar Drive, and will proceed down Elsmere Avenue to a right on to Kenwood Avenue to a left on to Adams Place to a right on to Adams Street to a right on to Delaware Avenue and will end at the Bethlehem Veterans Memorial Park where there will be a flag raising ceremony, prayer service, Taps and the playing of the National Anthem.

Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998 by best friends Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Despite their band name, Eagles of Death Metal is not a death metal band. The story goes that a friend was introducing Josh Homme to the death metal genre. When he played a song by the Polish band Vader and made a claim that the song was within the death metal genre, Homme then referred to Vader as "The Eagles of Death Metal". After hearing this phrase, he wondered what a cross between the Eagles and a death metal band would sound like. With that, the band was born.
